What if the winds of the storms we face are actually taking us where we need to go? What if the detours aren’t actually detours, but paths to our divinely ordained destinations? Jesus is the I AM, He is the King of Kings and He ever-present and guiding our way. Do we believe this even when we’re fighting against winds and waves? Dreamer - your detour due to a storm may actually be taking you where you were meant to be all along…

I created a vlog a few days ago because God has been doing SO much in my heart. This week's podcast is the audio of half of that vlog. If you want the whole message, visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCACsATA4H4! :) Seasons of refinement are absolutely necessary if you want to fully live out the calling God has for your life. It's not easy, but it's so worth it. The good news is - God never leaves us alone. He's with us in every heartache, in every trial, in every moment of suffering. He is with us, and He is doing something beautiful, whether we can see it right now or not. Will we choose to trust Him?
Key Scripture: When you walk through the fire of oppression, you l not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. Isaiah 43:2b, NLT

Last week we talked about speaking the Word over the dead things in our lives and seeing the miracle of muscle and skin being attached to those dead bones. Today, we talk about the power of prayer, and how it allows the breath of God to come into our miracles - animating them with His power and His life. This is the stuff we should be tenaciously pursuing as believers and God-dreamers. I'm so excited for you to join me as we study this amazing word from Ezekiel together!!
Key Scripture: "Come, O breath, from the four winds! Breathe into these dead bodies so they may live again." Ezekiel 37:9b, NLT

When Jesus received word that one of his best friends was on his death bed, He had the strangest response: he stayed where he was and didn't go to heal his friend. "Although Jesus loved Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, he stayed where he was for the next two days." (John 11:5-6, NLT) How do love and delayed help go hand-in-hand? Surely this doesn't make sense? I have felt the tension of this in my life, and I'm sure you have, too. For we who dream God-dreams, it can be so confusing when it looks like God is delaying to the point of our dream breathing its last and dying in our arms, leaving us questioning Him: God, why didn't You come and fix everything while there was still hope? Why didn't You come before this dream died right in front of me? The story of Lazarus gives us some amazing insight to answer these questions. Let's dive into it together!!
Key Scripture: "For your sakes, I’m glad I wasn’t there, for now you will really believe." John 11:15a, NLT

Wow, it's December!! And that, of course, has me reflecting on what happened this year. 2017 was this juxtaposition of blessing and suffering for me - what about for you? Actually, what I've discovered is that SUFFERING is, in fact, a PREREQUISITE for some of the greatest blessings! Join me on today's episode to find out the incredible reasons WHY that is the case. You will not leave this 15 minutes without being encouraged! :)
Key Verse: Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world. 1 Peter 4:12-13, NLT

It hit me this week - we don't have to fight for our calling. The calling on our life cannot be revoked. HOWEVER, we do need to fight - we need to fight for focus and fight to stay in the game when we're tempted to opt out by the difficulties we face. Why? Because we cannot opt out, not if we want to fulfill the pre-ordained call on our lives. Let's talk about this together in this week's episode!
Key Verse: And he has anointed me as his preacher, his apostle, and his teacher of truth to the nations. The confidence of my calling enables me to overcome every difficulty without shame, for I have an intimate revelation of this God. And my faith in him convinces me that he is more than able to keep all that I've placed in his hands safe and secure until the fullness of his appearing. 2 Timothy 1:11-12, The Passion Translation
There's something you've been entrusted with, a gift given to you and woven into who you are by the very hand of God. What are you doing with that entrustment? What is the purpose for it? This topic is burning in my heart and I want to share it with you, along with some of the new things that God has released me to do with what He has entrusted to me. Take the next step with me! Let's embark on the journey of our gifts together.
Key Verse: Through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives within us, carefully guard the precious truth that has been entrusted to you. 2 Timothy 1:14, NLT
My husband and I have been watching a lot of Fixer Upper recently, and one day it hit me: I want to be Chip and Joanna Gaines. No, not flipping houses, but working alongside my husband, each of us using our own giftings, but working toward a common goal. There have been so many other things that have been encouraging me from Chip and Jo's life and story, too...I'm reminded again about how much God cares about the dreams He's placed inside of me (and inside of you). Listen to the podcast for all of the fun stuff rumbling in my soul!! And remember: you are NOT forgotten!
Key Verse: I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose that Jesus Christ has called me to fulfill and wants me to discover. I don't depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead. Philippians 3: 12b-13, TPT
What's your superpower?
The life of a God-dreamer should be marked by the grace that comes with our incredible, beautiful union with and submission to Christ.
What is the result of this grace in your life?
You have a superpower inside of you just waiting to be discovered. This episode will help you uncover what yours is...
Join me on the adventure!!
Is there something God is calling you to step out in faith and DO? Are you having a hard time saying yes and taking the risk? I totally get it! A year ago, the Lord asked me to start doing something that I was afraid to do, but I knew that He was saying it was going to be a very important part of my journey, my calling, and my effectiveness...so I said YES. Find out what it was that I said yes to in today's podcast. Obeying God is ALWAYS worth the risk!!
Key Verse: But if I say I’ll never mention the Lord or speak in his name, his word burns in my heart like a fire. It’s like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can’t do it! Jeremiah 20:9, NLT
It can be tempting to be stingy in your celebration of others' dreams if yours are taking a long time to come true. But it's a mark of maturity and of wholeness in your identity in Christ if you are able to step out and celebrate the dreams of your friends - especially when they come true. Will you rejoice when your friends are successful? I hope you will!! If not - you may find yourself celebrating alone when your dreams come true.
Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. Philippians 2:3-4, NLT
There's a life in Christ that surpasses the reality we live in in this world. The Holy Spirit was left with us to offer a life that springs up from within, regardless of what is happening to us externally. But how do we practically access that life? How do we live in the reality of the life that's supposed to spring up from within as opposed to the reality of this fallen world? That's what we talk about in today's episode! You do NOT want to miss it!
So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, The Message
