Holistic Dream-Chasing: Are you ready for a CHANGE?

Holistic Dream-Chasing: Are you ready for a CHANGE?

Hi friend!

Fall is in full swing! Can you believe it? The weather is cooling off (even in Texas!), the leaves are turning color, and change is in the air!

It seems like every October, things start fresh for me. For most people, fresh starts happen in January or in the Spring – but for me, it’s October. It seems like a chance to let go of the old and embrace the new. And that’s exactly what I’m doing here on this page – embracing the new! I have had my website for years and have been doing my best to encourage people in their faith, their dreams, and their knowledge of God. But God has been doing so many things in me over the past several months, and has added a new aspect of my life and ministry to the mix…and that is…

I HAVE A HEALTH BUSINESS NOW.

You may be thinking, "Omg, what? DON'T CHANGE! Please! You're our dreamer girl!" (Or you may just be thinking, "Cool. You do you, boo.") Either way, I have realized that change can be jarring even when change is good. Do you know what I mean? Let me give you some examples:

1. Changing from a caterpillar into a butterfly. Have you noticed it takes them a while to get acclimated to the fact that they HAVE WINGS??? Obviously, being a beautiful flying insect is WAYYY better than being a worm, am I right? But it takes a moment to adjust.

2. Changing from playing in a minor league to playing in a MAJOR league - this is the DREAM for sports players, right? But man, once you hit those major leagues, you've got to work harder and stay more consistent - or you will be booted!

3. Changing from a sick person to a healthy person.  This is MY personal experience - and all of the sudden it means I need to take more responsibility for my time, because I have more of it. Well, more of it in which I can actually be doing something. It takes a while to get used to not having to say to NO to things because of my body's limitations! (I also need to start doing more aggressive workouts at the gym...hahaha)

But as we all know, if we don't accept the challenges that change brings, we also won't discover the amazing growth, gifts, and goodness that are being offered to us through the change.

So here I am - changing things up a bit. YES - we are still going to talk dreams. But we are going to start looking more holistically at what it means to be a dreamer. ARE YOU READY?

ARE YOU READY to take stock of your mental habits? What do you think about yourself? Where do you have limiting beliefs? What lies are you believing? How do you proactively replace them with truth??

ARE YOU READY to take stock of your physical state? Are you feeling sick in your body? What chronic issues are you dealing with? What can we change in our eating, exercising, and supplementation habits to reclaim our optimal health?

ARE YOU READY to take stock of your spiritual life? What spiritual disciplines have you been lax in? How are you internalizing scripture and applying it to your life? What is the state of your relationship with God?

And lastly - ARE YOU READY to take part in a healthy, thriving community of people who are holistically dream-chasing with you? People who will challenge you, encourage you to be the best version of yourself, and cheer you on as you pursue your goals?

God has AWAKENED me again to believe in all that He can do in and through my life, and I want you all to WAKE UP with me.

So thank you for embracing with me the change of vibe that is coming over to GabiRuth.com. Change is good - and we are about to get so much better - TOGETHER.
